To be or not be - an intern at TeQflo
Internship, what does that really mean? That you get to make coffee for a group of people and roll your thumbs for a couple of weeks? Or, is it a possibility to get to know and let a company get to know you, an opportunity to show off your skills and personality?
Recently we enrolled three interns, coming from a very cool program called MatchIT, the subject of internship is highly in question for us at the moment. So here’s our take on what internship is all about and in the weeks to come, we will present these interns individually and tell you a bit more about MatchIT.
My first internship was at a CD-store (yes, an actual store only selling CD’s and movies, crazy!) Prince Igor, the rap-opera crossover hit single with Warren G, Sissel Kyrkjebö and The Rapsody was selling like it was 1997. Anyway, their manager thought it would be a good idea to carry out an inventory during my internship, so I checked every CD case in the store to see if it had a match of an actual CD behind the counter. As I was only 14, or something like that, I think in retrospect, this was a good experience. Today, with a little bit more experience and knowledge, I would probably have wished for something more.
Launching TeQflo (smart tech flowing), many nights were spent decoding digitalisation. One conclusion was the untapped potential in people and new ways of organising and motivating.
We not only believe in "be and becoming yourself", we actively strive to achieve this in our actions. Why? As we are growing and see a future need to strengthen our team.
As we are progressive, we'd like to explore new avenues attracting great people one opportunity is through internships.
As an intern, you will be able to learn and demonstrate your skills. We'll also get to know each other and see if we have a long-term match, which in the end benefits all parties. The joint ambition is to convert the internship to employment.
